THE BOY
David started playing football with his dad when he was only three years old. He joined his first team , Redgeway Roovers, when he was seven - and scored over 100 goals in three years!


THE PRO:

David signed for Manchester United on the 2nd of May, 1989 - his 14th birthday! He played his first match in the first team when he was 17!

THE POP STAR FOOTBALLER:
In 1997, David started dating Victoria from the pop group The Spice Girls and he married her two years later. Now he was famous all over the world! He changed his hairstyle and clothes all the time!

THE HATED MAN:
In the 1998 World Cup, England played Argentina. Beckham kicked Diego Simeone and the referee decided to send him off. Some people hated Beckham because England played with ten and didn't win.

THE HERO:
In 1999, Beckham helped Manchester United win all three big trophies: The Premier League, the FA Cup and the Champions League. Everyone loved him again!

THE TRANSFERS:
In 2003, David moved to Spain to play for Real Madrid. They paid £24.5 million for him! He won the 'La Liga' with them in 2007. Beckham then signed for an American football club, LA Galaxy and he also played for the Italian team AC Milan. Finally, he travelled to France to play for Paris Saint-German.

THE FINAL GAME:
On the 18th of May 2013, Beckham played his last game for PSG in Paris. At the end, he hugged his team mates and cried.

THE FUTURE:
David wants to spend more time with Victoria and his four children. He has three boys. Brooklyn (14), Romeo (11), Cruz (9) and one girl: Harper (2).
